This bench seat will be at twelve inches. It is designed for kits. Everything is held together by glue.

Thursday December 4 2025 9AM
The larger bench will have a seat at sixteen inches. I had to move it inside to glue because it got too cold in the garage.

These benches are a christmas present

Hopefully the family these are going to will find them useful

All painted by Elizabeth and sitting next to the tree.

Sunday December 14 2025 7AM
Same pattern. One oak, the other walnut. All waxed up and drying.

Wednesday December 10 2025 10AM
Christmas Tree attempt one. It turned out so bad I didn't even bother to color it. Taco is already destroying it.

Saturday December 6 2025 12PM
This is version one. Needs some tweaking. This style of bench is basically the equivalent of sitting on a regular chair backwards. It allows you to rest your arms while staring down a hole in the ice.

Sunday November 16 2025 12PM
Deck work. I cut, layed, spaced and fastend all of the deck boards. I started off using thin strips of panel as spacing, but quickly switched to angle iron. Live and learn..

Sunday November 16 2025 12PM
Deck work. The deck structure was already in place. I helped put up the joists.

I was supplied the materials and asked to build this kit hunting stand from Menards. Getting the frame in place by yourself is a bear.

Sunday October 26 2025 2PM
Menards Kit Blind. Floor installed.

Tuesday October 28 2025 11AM
Menards Kit Blind. Ladder installed. Outside and roof started. I hate working on roofs on these things.

Wednesday October 29 2025 3PM
Menards Kit Blind. I would have designed this differently, but I worked with what I was given.

Wednesday October 1 2025 4PM
I needed to catch a loose quail, so I built this trap. It actually worked. Quail love watermelon.

Thursday October 9 2025 12PM
I absolutely over-built this quail pen, and the design has a lot of problems. Quail behave differently than chickens. I do know how I'd build another one now.
